Friday, August 18, 2006 New Co-Program Director

We are very happy to announce the hire of Andy Kline as KTOO’s new Co-Program Director.  Andy’s been involved with the station for 18 years now in many different capacities:  radio reporter, Midnight Caper’s DJ, volunteer for countless fundraisers and events, KTOO board member and commissioner on the Alaska Public Broadcasting Commission.  Even before the possibility of his hire here, he was involved in the programming discussions for the new stations and has a great instinct about the Juneau listening audience.  He brings alot of enthusiasm and passion for music and news to the job and will be a wonderful asset around here!  He officially starts on October 2nd but will be engaged in the K3 planning before then.
